Such a storm is a 1 in 50 year event not an "unprecedented storm" at all. Seems like your sudden surge and views about the interconnector have more to do with ideology than fact. U would not know yet what caused it but u have jumped to conclusions to support the ideology behind renewables.
A lot of sholders in AGL disagree ((more than 25%, we are not given the specific number), do not like how Vesey and Maycock changed the AGL energy mix from old power to renewables and voted down their remuneration report) with you.
AGL is a beneficiary in any event as they have the best energy mix to reap the rewards whatever the outcome of the investigation into the South Australian Power Scandal.
