First of all please accept my apologies as I did not want to post this under any company but HC will not let me. This is a fail for them as it should just be posted in the Oil and Gas thread.I came upon this video via a graphite co. thread and thought it was information that could be of use to oil and gas investors. Please take it as you see it. I put it here so as to open peoples minds to the possibility that this will happen in the time frame of just 10 to 15 years. What that will mean for all oil & gas as well as coal companies as if it does come to pass it will be devastating IMO.
I am a car guy and love my cars having built several to handle and go like the clappers but would have loved to afford a supercar. Been for a ride in a few but never driven one.I believed that mass EV uptake was 30 years away like the International Energy Agency still predicts. If Tony Seba's prediction is correct and you are able to buy a brand new electric car with supercar performance like the Tesla S3(voted the best car ever made according to Tony)which will outperform any million dollar supercar for $33,000US that has 18 moving parts,unlimited klm warranty,a 320klm range and one tenth the operating cost I think we have a problem that is disruptive. Oh and if you are set up for solar/battery storage there is no cost to run it. They got me I can tell you that. The video is about so much more than just that though.
Please don't shoot the messenger. Only 47,000 odd people have viewed this video which was made in March this year. I urge you to watch it and do so several times.It has certainly made me think.I new as we probably all do that megatrends are afoot. I just did not realize the scope and speed. Hope you enjoy it.
