The oil-linked gas price has made many greenfield LNG (including FLNG) projects uneconomical in the current environment.

One project that appears to have fallen victim to the Brent crude linked gas price is the Caribbean FLNG project in Colombia (of which we are all familiar from the Cott presentations).

Pacific Rubiales has stated that the project is just delayed but the result is that Exmar's newly completed 'world's first FLNG barge' is now without a gas field & looking for a new home!
