That's right bubsmark. There is a threshold in every funded class action that must be met before a funder will consider it worthwhile to take the risk of committing to the action. That is why they announce the action on a conditional basis. Once the funder sees the potential recovery they can make a more commercial cost-benefit analysis of the action.
