Simply because I hate schemers! And don’t want us Aussie heading the Yankee way of suing everyone.

I’ll reiterate, it doesn’t benefit me in anyway to support Carnival.

If anything I’m p!ssed off with Princess because they have deserted Bris. for the Southern states.

They only left us with basically crappie P&O!

This is my theory why the Norovirus spreads so effectively.

Many elderly passengers don’t take out travel insurance. Relying on being off loaded in NZ because of the reciprocal medical agreement. That way they can control their medical expenses - medical expenses onboard is in USA prices.

Even if they have medical insurance many need to pay an excess off at least $200 bucks and try to avoid this expense.
The normal message from long term cruises, is only go to the medical if it’s serous, like breaking a limb.

So many passengers try too cure themselves before fronting the medical centre. That is why it spreads so quickly thru the ship. Besides lying prior to boarding!

I’ll even admit that I follow this concept for a cold, my wife and I alway request seating for two explaining the reason for the request.

Many passengers don’t give a stuff how it may effect other passengers mixing with others and effecting them.
