re: clarkkent alpha Don’t if TIM is affected by the drought, but SHV said a few weeks ago that it was not affected at all as about 95% of the water quota was still available to it. Both TIM and SHV are used very efficient water dripping irrigation systems for olive/almond trees.
But I reckon certain sectors of the MIS industry must be affected, e.g. cattle farms. Newspapers say the cattle farmers are de-stocking due to the drought and the beef price is falling.
Most MIS companies take investors’ 10-year upfront fees of pulpwood projects (for example) as instant income and profit. They looked fantastic just a couple years ago, but not so now, and who knows next year?
