l hear that Murray Irrigation has suspended water supplies to a lot of farmers - does anyone know if TIM is affected ?
Landline did a good story on MIS - pros + cons. One point is that Aust still imports 80% of its olives / olive oil, so there is plenty of potential for expansion.
The point of the MIS is to provide time for schemes to become profitable, without it there would be no investment. So yes, it does distort values, but that is the only way to get projects started.
