I am not sure what we are chasing here. However, the idea here is to introduce a clear solar glass which can be used for windows, as opposed to solar panels which block all the light and thus cannot be used for such purpose. Application in high rise buildings is of particular interest here. The term clear is relative. I believe even normal glass is not 100% clear and only passes some 96% of visible light (your point 4 re crystal clear). Many highrise buildings use tinted glass (for appearance, and also absorbing uv, cooling effect, etc). I believe the percentage of visible light they allow in is in 60% range.

So allowing 70% of visible light seems right for the application, and allows introduction of an alternative which not only does all of the above (uv, insulation, etc), but also generates electricity; while it has many other cool applications like privacy screen, smart signs, etc. So if the objective of your post is to say CPV is not fit for its intended application, then I believe you are wrong. CPV creates a superior alternative to what is currently being used in high rise buildings, and on top of that it generates electricity, and pays for itself. So we have a solar glass which is a clear, and you can see through, as opposed to solar panels.
