Calliden Group has consolidated concentration on specialist motor vehicle insurance business by becoming a 50% shareholder in Claims Services Australia Pty Ltd (CSA). CSA specialises in motor vehicle accident management, assessing management and claims management to insurance companies and self-insuring corporations. CSA provides end to end solutions and operates nationally. Calliden reports that CSA “has an outstanding reputation in the industry for professional management and responsiveness to customer needs.” CSA will continue to provide services to its current client base. Nick Kirk, Calliden Group managing director and CEO said: “The investment in CSA provides Calliden with the specialist claims service and infrastructure required to support our growing business. “It enables Calliden to continue to provide the responsiveness our customers and their intermediaries have come to expect from us. “The investment in CSA strengthens Calliden’s relationship with a company that has an impressive reputation in claims services and we are proud to partner with CSA. “We have invested in an existing claims infrastructure and network that provides excellent service to clients. “At Calliden we have a small number of preferred claims management providers, CSA is our preferred motor claims provider. Calliden works closely with its partners that provide claims services to ensure they complement our total service offering.” He said business would carry as usual for CSA, which services a number of Calliden motor schemes and underwriting agencies. CSA provides consultation to others. It will maintain this role. It will continue to work out of the same premises with the same management and staff and will operate on a professional arms length basis and continue to service their existing client base.
