    you are being a bit tough on personal trainers, Davo, as the ones I have met, all wanted to make a career out of it. They do have to undertake a course also, which takes a bit of time and effort, and furthers their commitment.

    We've got one at our gym who must do okay, as he is always training someone.....one of the 'exceptional trainers'. Having said that, we've had many who've come and gone, this guy just seems more interactive with the people he trains. If anything, the old small business stat's of 80% failure, probably tells a tale, and I don't think gym's could afford to put them on as an employee.
