Following on from the above WEC can only hope the they manage to get as much as US$10 million after all the work that has been done at Mountainside. A sum of US$12 million to US$15 million would be good news. We can but guess really, though there are no upbeat comments about the 5 bidders for Mountainside either from the company's Chairman or MD. They have lent the company A$2 million between them to give time for the sale outcome of Mountainside.
On the Arbitration in Singapore talks of US$750 million being awarded to WEC looks very unlikely. The company has spent over US$110 million. The difference is so wide we can but hope of a favourable decision on the Tranche 2 Appeal and Tranche 3 outcome.
