I'd also like to say how grateful I am to be invested in CLA, and other stocks that have proven and substantial Cobalt resources. Not going to name names here for fear of cross-promoting, but one look at their JORCs and drilling results and you'll know who I'm talking about. At this stage in the cycle, it is a great comfort to not have to worry too much about "are we good enough?", and instead only having to keep an eye on the price of the material. None of that postage-stamp size prospects that require further massive drilling campaigns please!
To get into these types of stocks at this stage of the cycle will be a masterstroke. To average down if you've bought in higher than the current SP will also prove to be an excellent decision. Remember, we are in the midst of a growing EV market. All that hype over the years about EVs has simply become reality now.... ie. it wasn't just hype after all. Even the Aussie government is being dragged into it, being compelled by the people to build more infrastructure for EVs! In a growing market, all the component sectors (copper, lithium, cobalt, nickel, etc.) that are involved in making such a market will experience swings that will only grow in intensity. Higher highs, lower lows.... that's how it will be.
To top it off, all those hopeful projects to replace Cobalt in batteries.... even the much vaunted move to 811 NCM batteries.... have either been delayed or shelved (811 has been delayed only if you believe what the battery makers say!):
