I have some scepticism about ESS growth, aside from the feel good aspect for people in developed economies, it’s predominantly an economic decision and its still too expensive for now.

In contrast, in developing countries where people have never had electricity, a I see massive demand for standalone solar generation and energy storage. This however will be more in the form of a couple of solar panels on the roof of a mud hut connected to lead acid battery storage and supplying a couple of light bulbs, a USB charger and maybe a power outlet.

Not so much a comment against adoption in developed countries, but more in favour of what I see as underestimated demand in developing countries where there is a genuine NEED. Good driver for silver (EV panels) and lead.
