Will be interesting to see how the transition goes. By rights the DRC should be a wealthy nation generally given they control such vast mineral wealth.  From BBC here is a quote re Tshisekedi late last yr;

If these plans come to fruition then the cost of doing business will move in one direction only. Let's hope for the ppl of the DRC that they can get even remotely close to this target and exceed it.
