NZC is about the only other Co play I like on the ASX. Having said that it's not a huge deposit and it's in the DRC, which may have some surprises yet in store.
It needs low capex to get off the ground in theory so looks like a smart play from the bidders.
I assume if you offered 10-15c for CLA most would take up the offer which is interesting in itself.
Given that NZC did get that offer makes you realise people still are after cobalt for sure.
I'm hoping whoever it is that (may) take over Geckos share takes a fair more whack than that which probably will see CLA through to FID etc. (and /or buyout like NZC etc)
The downside to CLA is the updated JORC only gets to 130-140Mt
If it got to 220Mt then that scale of things gets bigger boys interested.
Having said that CLA needs some newsflow asap, which I'm going to cause some ruckus about.
