If visa and MasterCard start using their own systems to circumvent the very banks they provide it to for transfers, then the banks will dump visa and MasterCard and use something else..... Would be like a car company offering online direct purchases from the factory, at the same time as selling sole distribution rights to car yards.
you are right.... this has nothing to do with afterpay. Splitit are talking global on day 1, and no late fees / possible loss of earnings for Splitit or merchants, and no limit on item expense. It's a superior business plan to afterpay. If afterpay had been capable of using the Splitit business plan, they would be on another planet currently.
