Another way to look at this - SPT needs a principal acquiring bank to process in Australia.

There are a handful of those - which one is it using to get access to Visa, Mastercard etc

If it doesnt have a local acquiring bank, it doesnt have the opportunity to service local merchants

They are the card scheme rules, and the SPT prospectus states as much under "How it works"

The acquiring banks (ie with Reserve Bank of Australia approval and with Principal Membership of Visa and Mastercard for retail
    • CBA
    • WPC
    • ANZ
    • NAB
    • Cuscal
    • ISX
    • FirstData
    • Adyen
    • Worldpay

    For JCB
    • ISX
    • WPC

    For ChinaUnionPay
    • NAB
    • WPC
    • ISX

For Diners and Discover (US Brand)
    • ISX

The prospectus mentions that they need to use an acquiring bank in each jurisdicition. Who is it in Aus? (or even the US?)
