I should disclose that I own the NZX equivalent KMD shares which reacts and follows whatever the ASX does. Takeover offer was from Briscoes Group Holdings in New Zealand about end of June last year. The offer (from memory) was 5 BGR shares for 9 KMD shares, plus a $0.2 NZD offer per share.
This was considered to be too low by majority of holders and only approx. 1-2% accepted the offer. I think at the time it worked out to be approx. $1.80 NZD.
