These transitions are always very polite and civil. We will never know if Mr Blackmore wanted her to move on. On the surface she has done a solid job. The down turn experienced was external factors and the light is at the end of the tunnel now.

I guess the share price fall relates to the instability that this may cause, and possibly an indication that things are not recovering as fast. We can only speculate.

I would assume there will be significant bonuses at Aus Post so the headline base figure is low for political reasons.

Finally, good on Marcus Blackmore for comming back to steady the ship. Let's hope the new CEO found is well placed and experienced to drive sales growth.
