If we are to look for evidence of God we might need a more sophisticated science branch that is not yet available.

Like the search for gravity waves it took some 100 years before there was visible evidence.

So like gravity waves we are in no position to prove or disprove the presence of the phenomenon called God for want big a better name.

IMO the science needed will need to be a form of science of the psyche but in time that will be developed.
