I am reminded here of the line from "Clockwise" when Brian Stimpson says: "It's not the despair, I can cope with that - it's the hope I can't stand.."
The feeling despair has now gone and I am left with that strange human quality of "hope". Always the "hope". Well, in comparison to others I am not so badly off. However in relation to my situation I am pretty desperate. So I live in hope, which is killing me.
And yes, there is still the hope that my other oiler will come through soon.
