Unless you live on a desert island, the discovery of needles in strawberries, and now even apples has been big news, not only in Australia but around the world
There is always a solution to any problem
Time to get out that chopping board and make a fruit or vegetable salad
Not only will it prevent dangerous consumption of foreign bodies (needles etc), it will promote the variety of colour needed in order for children and adults alike to really look forward to eating fruit and vegetable salads.
Blending with those high speed processors destroys all the goodness in the food. It may be a quick and easy way to make a shake.....but it is not really a solution for optimum health benefits
