    Ridiculous - No not at all, at least your going to get uncontaminated (chemical free) eggs.
    My view was probably more on the lines of my laziness.
    Growing up as a kid, rural life in what we now call our Black Shack days, (tough times but fun) we used to have around 200 odd chooks just free roaming the joint. The biggest problem was actually finding the eggs as there were no pens and on dark they would come home and sleep in the rafters of the cow shed or up a tree. ha
