Perhaps that was the terms of the deal with our Man of Mystery. However I would not be giving them back if I got them for 7 cents.
I read this in the Australian - "Mr Choiselat, who is managing director of Jumbuck, says in an affidavit he is "ready, willing and able" to repay the $1.3 million margin lending facility in full in exchange for the return of the shares."
It would be funny if the ANZ were ordered to return the shares. They would have to go cap in had to prime to get 11 million. The SP would go through the roof if the tried to buy that many on market.
Not a good look for the ANZ at the moment, they really didn't dispose of the share holdings in a manner I would consider prudent, more like a stampede to the door before someone could notice.
