It's interesting that you say "too late to stop the DES sale" ...
The article mentions that "Beconwood is seeking to stop the ANZ from selling the shares that Beconwood placed with Opes, and is seeking the return of an equivalent parcel of securities."
I wonder what would happen if they were successful.
For ANZ to do a "return of an equivalent parcel of securities", would they then need to purchase some DES stock (at current prices) to return them? That would be nice, it might give the SP a bit of a kick-on.
