For all four options Botswana is looking into to export coal out by rail (two routes out of South Africa, one through Namibia and one out of Mozambique), Mulligan said that Takatokwane will benefit from all but that Nimrodel prefers the Trans-Kalahari route out of Namibia – probably because the proposed railway runs right over the Takatokwane resource.
“Others have spoken and will speak extensively about the Botswana infrastructure issues. I won’t dwell on them, except to say that in large scale thermal coal fields around the world, we believe Botswana is one of the last remaining and its time is near.
“Our reality in the storm is that it is going to take some years; I think everybody knows that. We will always plan for that opportunity. A hybrid solution through South Africa is realistic and we will be investigating that. Our coal is good for power station feed and we will be looking at South Africa as a market, and we do plan to partner with an international player.

Nothing much has changed IMO. Specimen was a long shot but I am surprised they only waited until 2 holes-I hope money isn't a problem. All other mineral finds are a bonus but we will be looking for a partner for this coal.
Good luck all
