    I would think that Chinalco is a Chinese Govt owned concern and, as the Chinese resource firms need to spread their nets wide, they must indeed be just a cornerstone investor for the sake being able to operate as a business in overseas countries. To me, they exist for Chinalco no matter what the percentages.
