Well I think we all agree that we're taking a hell of a lot of ocean life out of the ocean. This doesn't seem to make much in the way of news so although it may be a big issue, I don't think a lot of people know about it so its not really talked about. Its another one of those environmental things that costs money to conserve it so not much will be done legislative wise. The Govt is happy to make money out of it and hand the problem to the next government (like has been happening). The environment will always lose when you have a short government term of 3-4 years and an environment that takes a lot longer to show symptoms, humans that take a long time to change and a environment that takes a long time to recover (if ever).
I'm a shareholder of C02 and frankly, I don't know why! They have said that they have no intentions of paying a dividend. So whats the point in being a shareholder?
I'm down 77%. Not much more to lose so I'll just hold onto them. Might surprise me.....
