Yes, thats correct, FeSi is going up further. Pity is GMC will never be able to produce FeSi as it takes up to 10,000KWh to produce 1 tonne. ie would cost GMC US$900 /tonne in electricity to produce 1 tonne using power at US$0.09c/KWh.
HOWEVER
GMC requires 0.43 tonnes of FeSi to produce 1 tonne of MC FeMn, rather an unfortunate time for GMC with the cost of inputs going up. When calculating a price remember the Chinese also have to pay a 20% export tax if exported.
