The thing about EV cars is they have the ability to test the image we conjure up when we think cars. With EV the manufactures can have hub engines, no big as motor under the bonnet, no drive train or gear box and a bit of design genius can incorporated the batteries in a frame structure. Im already designing mine, spa pool in the rear seat area heated from the breaking friction, auto pilot in the cockpit with refreshments and possibly  a little giro copter set up to jump any grid lock event and/or land me on my roof car park were solar panels immediately recharge the batteries and wash the windscreen. The gyro will then double up as a wind turbine and provides heat through ducting to the apartment.
