Thanks for posting the link. Well it might affect SMR, but in the end China has to get its coking coal from somewhere. If they buy from somewhere else, then the people who were buying from the somewhere else will buy from here - unless there's severe oversupply which seems a bit unlikely.
And now OT:- The political situation in and wrt China is a worry. An expansionist dictator (ie. Xi Jinping) of a powerful country is very bad news for the rest of the world. IMHO, he is going to bully everything he can out of the rest of the world until someone stops him, and Australia is one of the places he will try to bully. Expect obstruction to Oz exports (like iron ore) from time to time as he tries to pressure us to his demands. And all the while he will be building up China's military strength and taking over every territory that he can. Is the evil Donald the only leader that "gets it"? I think perhaps not - if the US and Russia wanted to beef up militarily to head off China, then they would surely start by tearing up the nuclear arms deal. And that is what they have just done. Fingers crossed that I'm right, and Putin "gets it" too (Russia has a lot more to lose than the US I think).
