The interesting thing Menta is whether or not China starts to get desperate enough to start complying with WTO rules and the international rules on intellectual property. Eg. don't steal IP, don't engage in industrial espionage etc in exchange for more open markets and less in the way of trade war. Some say that China can self-sustain, but I don't think that's realistic.They rely on foreign exports. And they are building up some hefty internal dissent about the heavy handedness of Xi's international positions.
