All very true Im afraid. People use to laugh at the way Chinese and Russians were fed lies and propaganda in their press and media.
Not so many laughing about that these days with what Western Media and in particular US MSM are doing, most are just unreliable now because imo they are controlled by billionaires and political parties.
Im no Chinese advocate but if it wasnt for China right now Australia would be looking a lot worse than it is. The US companies that now produce partly or completely in China would probably be bankrupt by now including the car makers.
Most of what people in Australia buy is Chinese because they mostly cant afford to buy goods from other countries like the US. IMO the US dollar is killing US exports into our country they are just too expensive. I have a US made ride on mower which is completely worn out now and I have to get another one but I wont be buying US because of the cost of parts. In the last five years just one drive belt which is really nothing more than a fan belt went from about $37 aud to now being $86 aud and partly because of the collapse of our dollar which the government has bought about.
