Not specifically chinese companies - I think the ones I have heard of have largely been Japanese and European as they have been owning Australian operations for far longer. Chinese ownership of Australian resources is a relatively recent thing and 100% owned companies don't really count other than with respect to resource royalties, though government has more teeth to insist on royalties at market rate if there is funny business going on.
This was a big problem in the 80s and 90s but don't know how prevalent it has been in recent times. Maybe this is better regulated or companies are smarter at hiding it now.
