One can never be sure whether any figures being bandied around on this subject are correct - it could be just a one off decline for whatever reason - but worth keeping an eye on. As with the Tesla pre production sales of the Model 3, many buyers were getting in to take advantage of the US$7,500 tax incentives. Not sure how long those incentives will continue in the US, and whether or not this is the reason for all the sales surges around the world where EV incentives are currently offered.
