Whether or not there was an enticing offer in play is irrelevant because of the surreptitious nature of it. So much so in fact that the whole thing could be nothing more than a made up claim to shake up a competing business or, like you have mentioned, drag sigma back into the negotiating table among other sordid business manouvers. Taking into account how things are playing at the moment then it is safe to assume that any negotiation would be for a supply agreement pertaining to 2019 and beyond. Auspiciously, this particular circumstance I think outlines the real achilles heel of CW, which is the supplier side of things. It would be interesting to keep watching, like you said, for sure.
