I'm no expert either, but under Listing Rule 3.1 any news a reasonable person would expect to have an affect on SP needs to be announced as soon as possible. But there are a number of exceptions under Listing Rule 3.1a.1 - one of interest may be "The information concerns an incomplete proposal or negotiation". If the court action has been terminated but they have gone back to the negotiation table, perhaps they would have an argument for not notifying the market until the negotiations were completed.
