If you had 1.5 million broadband customers and were 'looking for growth opportunities' where would you look.
But Symbio first have to get their wholesale/termination costs down - then watch the buyers step into MNF. IT industry is moving fast and VoIP in Aus is here to stay.
The questions is how much would you pay for MNF once all these issues are addressed. If 60,000 customers can generate 7.5million turnover with a small loss (due to Symbio), then 1.5 million customers would in effect generate $200million turnover with MNF's model.
Restructure/reduce Symbios wholesale/termination costs (since volume will be significantly higher)and you now have one very very profitable vehicle with immediate bottom line impact on another companies client base. Keep the 'My Net Phone' brand name though.
This is how I am valuing MNF's potential.
