With regard to some recent comments "that nothing much else can go wrong" for Commander. I'd like to provide the following additional scenario's for you to consider, over and above those I recently provided.
(a) Some large customers who recently put their IT business out to tender, and who awarded their IT products and services business to Commander, may be considering legal action, as Commander should have disclosed to those customers what they were considering doing and when.
(b) Some current IT services contracts have some hefty performance penalty's attached and it is possible that those performance criteria may now not be able to be met. Leaving Commander exposed to significant performance penalty's.
(c) Vendor relationships in the IT market are a significant part of any business. Commander has absolutely trashed their Vendor relationships and this will have an effect on their Managed Services business.
I could go on, but I'm sure you get the picture.
All I am trying to point out to is that there is still considerable downside to their recently announced changes and I currently believe that there is more downside to come.
I don't wish to rain on your Commander parade, but again, I haven't been wrong yet on one single point with regards to Commander.
Regards
Tails
