The 1.50 per watt refers to the thin film market. Some Manufactuers are hitting below 1.00 per watt cost. If sliver wants market share for ground mount projects then they have to hit close to these prices.

Again if your making claims that sliver cells will cut cost in half, please provide facts to back up your claims. The less silicon logic does not hold water. As the process to produce a regular crystalline wafer to panel is different vs producing a sliver wafer to panel.

Once your able to provide factual cost involved to produce a sliver panel, then we can see if your claims are true. I just don't see how the processing cost of stringing 20 times more cells in the same footprint would be cheaper to make.
