Polysilicon prices are not at high levels, if they were then thinfilm will be a bigger threat then the companies you outline below. As thinfilm use a lot less silicon then the later.
Also I was at intersolar, wasn't too impressed with the sliver effiency of only 13percent vs crystaline up to 20percent.
Also fyi silicon wafer price is at around 80cents per watt. It all good to use less silicon. But how much does it cost to process a silver wafer to a cell then the panel? That is the important question. To me it looks like an expensive process as there is a lot more cells per panel.
