Just FYI, if your broker doesn't give you live prices for free, why are you with them?

For many years I traded through Bendigo Etrade and I stayed with them despite the days where their platform failed because I liked their Etrade Pro platform. However after Bendigo changed to CMC and I discovered what a sheet show that is(several thousand $$ lost when their platform failed to stream prices properly) I moved to Comsec and I've not looked back. Although I pay for their live Iress platform most months, even with their standard platform the prices are click to refresh live(they're actually streamed live on the app though in watchlists I think) and possibly a more important thing these days is your orders will fill on either ASX or chi-x so you have greater liquidity at your disposal(you have to pay for Iress to be able to see chi-x orders though). IMO the benefits outweigh any small $$ saving on brokerage
