Don't fret yourself too much, I can afford to buy the stocks at any price they sell for currently, I'm not one to "skimp" on a few bucks considering the potential upside to the share price. That being said, I have traded in and out (successfully) over the past few years taking some poor suckers money each time, it's the nature of the game.

Anyone that uses ramping as a mechanism to influence share price is just p155ing in the wind and kidding themselves as an investor; and likewise any stock that can be manipulated that way deserves to be manipulated.
