I wish I had a dollar, for every time I’ve read the negative interpretations of the fundamentals, (won’t succeed, can’t be done, competition etc) in some of the companies that I hold, that have then gone on to produce some very profitable results over time, and provide shareholder value.
As we expect, prices go up and down in the market, on a regular basis, in response to the laws of supply and demand, manipulation, and whatever the game plays of the smart money may be.
Getting in as close to the bottom, a desirable outcome, should be achievable, as we can see where the support levels are, and a bit of patience in all things, may be required.
Some of the best results can be had from medium-long term holdings. And if we reckon that SPT is capable of delivering some pleasing results over time, and be able to capture at least a lion’s share of the market globally, with the split payment finance model that they are offering consumers, then, why not give this company a go, to see what this management will be able to achieve over time.
I realise that this is speculative right now, however, we are being offered some good share (buy in) prices at the moment, after all of the hype has settled down.
If it doesn’t work out; the door is always open.
This Buffett quote comes to mind: Be greedy when others are fearful.
