Perhaps the average punter should realise that before investing.
A company like this, if it is lucky, progresses to run things called clinical trials. These are expensive, take a long time to plan and run. Management aren't just sitting on their bums, feeding off shareholders money. They can't be continually lobbing anns to the ASX just to keep traders happy.
Eventual success or failure will depend primarily on results, which from now on will be few and far between. What will really matter is the SP at those critical times and not all the rot that goes on in between. The incentive for management is to provide the leadership and levers to get to those points. Nothing that I am aware of suggests that they are doing anything else but that.
