Mick, I use P&F to track accumulation and pop points in a general sense with speculative stocks because it is my view the fundamentals are more important than TA and the market mechanism is not mature enough to reflect moves with great accuracy. News and market power drive these stocks. I am essentially a long term trader looking to establish a core and then trade fluctuations to reduce core holding costs when opportunities present. Just look at the likely balance of probabilities of success given different trade setups.

Essentially I see value in the assets they hold and I observe through the accumulation, the market is poised to add to that value.

From a charting perspective the P&F is purely price driven. If this stock was more mature then 2.3 cents could be a chart target. Longer term it may catapult to 12.3 cents but it will need positive news to make autonomous shifts in demand rather than travel along the demand curve IMO.

I also look to volume as a separate indicator that P&F alone does not show. Couple the two together Price by Volume and you have value. Also like to get in at a price associated with the accumulation to reduce the risk of fluctuations shaking me out due to market distortions by bigger players. Understanding volume is the key to seeing the footprints of bigger players.
