    James Bay is in Quebec, on the other side of Canada. (Alaska would be quite different given that Trump is basically destroying the USA's Environmental Protection Agency.)

    Very low sovereign risk in Canada but not entirely without issues. Mining companies - rightfully so - often must negotiate with First Nations people, and there is a fairly strong environmental approvals process (once again, rightly so). If you can't do business without screwing over the First Nations people or destroying the environment, then you've got no right to do business.

    Really Argentina is pretty solid. The current economic climate isn't brilliant there, but the country has more or less been very stable since the crisis of 1999/2002, which was bloody terrible. It has been a politically stable democracy for more than 30 years. Successive Argentine governments have sought to attract investment, not scare it off. Technologically brine operations are lower cost and easier (once up and running) to operate than hard rock. SDV is the flagship asset.
