going to need a new thread called "Showtime" or something to that effect. More big volumes in the UK, 2.7m traded at time of writing with last at 18.9p (28.05c AUD)
There has been increasing press of late in general towards unconventional gas, with market commentators suggesting that now is the time to get exposure to acreage. LNC and Beach to name a couple of local plays.
LRL with their accelerated exploration program could just be starting to run, still a timy EV with the bulk of the market cap made up of cash in the bank. Any good news and its destined to do one thing, fly! Bad news well there is always cash backing to support, but with the Managing Director having so much skin in the game I'm confident he's not just spending cash coz its fashionable, he made 50m on the last Chinese play and I reckon he's right on the money again.
A lot of news to come in the next few months. Added bonus is the forecast for Chinese gas prices are now a lot higher than when that 1 Billion NPV figure appeared in that presentation and people were talking $4.
With high costs associated with drilling one would think that any favourable gas price movement would have a large impact on the NPV, even potentially doubling it, that would = $8/share btw. Though with the wells requiring stimulation costs will be higher so $8 is only a pipedream, but certainly 50c-$1 isn't out of the question in a few months
Anyway - it all looks very good IMO!
