I was talking to someone today who works at Coles and has close observation of the stock management for several stores.
Basically the word is that demand is insatiable and they can sell whatever they stock. and the manager often doesn't bother stocking the shelves and just leaves it on the pallet as it goes immediately. People are frequently queuing waiting for the store to open and the buyers (diagou) will hide tins elsewhere around the store so that they can get round tin limits and come back later to recover their hidden treasure.
Buyers complain about tin limits, and argue with staff or amongst themselves over the competition to buy our product.
What other supermarket product is in such demand? It's incredible really.
Charts are interesting and I really appreciate the goodwill from Hoots and others offering charting analysis.
But, I don't need a chart to tell me which way the SP is heading!
