I lived next door to him in Dunedin fro a couple of years, he was such an ebullient character. backed many great ideas. We were devastated to hear that he choked to death on room service in a Fiji hotel room while on business. Probably only in his late 40's by then. What else could he have achieved?
NZ needs 10 such people each decade, rather than anther tranche of property developers. NZ'ers are still appallingly share market gun-shy.
